Hello!

My name is Amanda Hankins, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and I specialize in Severe and Persistent Mental Health Disorders. I have worked with clients individually and in a family setting. I also have worked with clients who suffer from depression and anxiety.  I have mostly worked with adults but I am also available to work with adolescents. My therapeutic methods are solution-focused and meeting the client where they are at in their therapy journey. My goal is to be a guide in this journey and to empower every person I provide services for.

I have spent the last 7 years working for Florida Assertive Community Treatment (FACT Services) where my clients have been a mixture of bipolar, schizophrenic, schizoaffective or have had various personality disorders.  I have also worked with clients with substance use and addiction issues. I have assisted clients with a variety of issues to help the clients maintain in the community including case management, therapy and coping skill development.

I come from a family of helping professionals and knew very young that I wanted to dedicated my life to being a person that can be that guide for people. I am very passionate about being a social worker and am very fortunate that I have the opportunity in life to advocate, inspire, and empower people to be the best version of themselves they can be.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and a Master’s Degree in Social Work both from the University of South Florida (USF). I provide psychology for teens and adults.

 

Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, camping, and crafting.
