Hi!! I am Dr. Rodriguez-Flores, I go by Dr. R. I am bilingual (English/Spanish) licensed psychologist and staff neuropsychologist with the University of South Florida (USF) providing neuropsychological specialty services in one of the state designated Memory Disorder Clinics, along with being a Clinical Trials Efficacy Rater with USF Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience department. I received advanced fellowship training in neuropsychology with AdventHealth Hospital and AdventHealth Medical Group in Orlando, FL.

My clinical experience includes from young to older adults who have experienced brain changes related to various medical, neurological, and neuropsychiatric conditions, such as concussions, brain tumors, stroke, dementia, Parkinson's disease, and multiple sclerosis. In addition to my outpatient experience, I have clinical experience providing services in facilities that have been awarded accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), such as inpatient neurorehabilitation units, ALF's, and SNF's. My research experience and interest include traumatic brain injury, dementias, cognitive rehabilitation, and cultural neuropsychology/cross-cultural issues. I also help individuals who need help with psychological clearance for bariatric surgery, spinal cord stimulator/intrathecal pain pump, and solid organ transplant.

I'm deeply committed to ongoing learning and integrating the latest effective assessment techniques into my care to provide optimal guidance to my patients. My assessment approach is to draw from evidence-based practices tailored to the patient's needs to ensure a comprehensive and tailored approach. I look forward to working with patients to provide diagnostic clarity and treatment needs as well as provide support for caregivers.
