My Word: Integration
My name is Tesh, I am a former division 1 athlete who became aware of the importance of mental health within this population. My experience led to pursue a career as a therapist! My focus is on the integration of mind, body and spirit and bringing awareness to many areas of life through emotional regulation and guided self discovery. I believe that it takes a village to help maintain self and I would be humbled to join you in your experience whilst also supplying you with the resources and tools to be the version of yourself you envision to be. Let it be an assortment of modalities to fit your personal needs or holistic approaches.
Currently, I work mainly with young adults, children, and adolescents. I’m trained in various evidence-based modalities including Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy and Mindfulness approaches. Being able to see the Self and parts that are extensions of ourselves is a main theme of my sessions. We take on different roles as an individual and one “bad” experience does not define who we are. My goal is to show how we can access our Self to heal any wounded part.
I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (Walden University), a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and a minor in Alternative Health (University of North Florida). I am a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern being supervised by Dr. Monica Lake
Tesh enjoys being around family and friends when she isn’t doing anything creative or playing sports!
