Hi! I’m Madison!
I believe meaningful change begins within a safe, supportive, and authentic therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment while working collaboratively toward their goals. I view each client as the expert on their own life and strive to help individuals recognize their strengths, develop self-awareness, and navigate life's challenges with confidence.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism, self-esteem difficulties, life transitions, relationship challenges, and emotional regulation concerns. As a neurodivergent-affirming therapist, I am committed to creating an environment where clients feel respected, supported, and empowered to embrace their unique experiences.
My approach is rooted in humanistic and person-centered principles, emphasizing empathy, authenticity, and genuine connection. I also integrate CBT and DBT techniques to help clients develop practical skills for managing emotions, reducing distress, and creating meaningful change.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology from High Point University and my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University.
Reaching out for support can be difficult, but you don't have to navigate challenges alone. I look forward to helping you build on your strengths and move toward the life you want to create.
