Registered Clinical Social Work Intern

Hello, I'm Megan!
As a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern (RCSWI), I am passionate about creating a compassionate, supportive, and judgment-free space where clients feel heard, understood, accepted, and safe. I believe that everyone has a unique story and deserves the opportunity to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences in an environment where they feel safe and respected. I strive to meet each client where they are and build a genuine therapeutic relationship rooted in empathy, trust, and collaboration.
My approach to therapy is primarily grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a person-centered approach. I believe that therapy should be tailored to each individual's unique needs, experiences, and goals. Through our work together, my goal is to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, develop healthy coping skills, build self-awareness, and feel empowered to create meaningful change in their lives.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida and my Master of Social Work with a focus in Mental Health and Trauma from the University of Denver. As an RCSWI, I am committed to continuing to grow as a clinician while providing thoughtful, compassionate, and individualized support to each client.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. My hope is to create a space where you feel comfortable being your authentic self, supported throughout the process, and empowered to take steps toward healing and personal growth. I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
