Hi, I'm Shiyu,
As a graduate-level clinician, I am committed to providing compassionate, culturally responsive, and evidence-based care. I strive to create a warm, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore life's challenges. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful growth, and I work collaboratively with each client to support their unique goals and strengths.
I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families, with a special passion for supporting Asian and Asian American communities. My integrative approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) to help clients navigate life transitions, improve relationships, develop healthy coping skills, and foster lasting emotional well-being. Whether you are experiencing stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, or seeking greater self-understanding, I am dedicated to meeting you where you are and supporting you on your journey toward growth and resilience.
BEYOND HELPING PEOPLE:
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants and coffee shops, traveling, and staying active. I also love animals, discovering new music, and finding opportunities for personal growth and lifelong learning. I believe maintaining balance and practicing self-care helps me bring my best self to the people I work with.
