However, as a licensed psychologist and licensed school psychologist Dr. Lake is in a particular good position to address a number of issues utilizing a base of knowledge in the fields of education, developmental psychology, clinical psychology, and education. Dr. Lake has working experience in both clinical settings and educational environments. Her additional training in counseling has prepared her to work with numerous special populations (e.g., Gifted and Talented Youth, Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, English Language Learners, etc.). Dr. Lake's experience includes working with children as young as 2 years old through adults age 65.

When and where are Dr. Lake’s services provided?
Dr. Lake's office is located Riverview, FL. Some services (e.g., counseling, consultation, and parent coaching) are also available online via a secure web-video platform. Online services are not recommended for all cases and inquiries will be assessed to determine appropriateness of this service. Dr. Lake offers a limited number of evening and weekend appointments.
Does Dr. Lake accept and bill insurance?
Dr. Lake is not an in-network provider for any medical insurance plan. She may be considered an out-of-network provider with your insurance and is able to provide you an invoice that may be submitted to insurance for reimbursement as allowed. Her fees may also be considered under your flexible spending (FSA) or health savings account (HSA). Families may wish to check with their insurance provider and employer for more information. It is also recommended to obtain pre-approval for out-of-network benefits and get clear feedback about reimbursement rates prior to receiving services with Dr. Lake. Dr. Lake currently works with clients who have Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services through Lyra Health and clients those approved to receive services through Vocational Rehabilitation.

Group Counseling: according to program
Parent Coaching/Behavior Management: $150
Gifted Evaluations: $275 (50% fee deposit required to secure appointment)
Other Psychological Assessments: Varies; call for a free consult and quote (50% fee deposit required to secure appointment)
Do you offer any discounts?
YES, Dr. Lake offers discounts on assessments services to siblings, educators, college students, military, and first responders.
