Hi! I'm Brooke!

Counseling is my second career, following years of service in the military and professional experience in marketing and church leadership. For over 17 years, I have had the privilege of working with children and their families, helping them strengthen relationships and overcome challenges together. I strive to create a collaborative partnership between parents, caregivers, and their children by teaching evidence-based strategies that can be applied at home for lasting growth and connection.
I have a deep passion for supporting individuals, couples, and families in discovering their strengths and becoming empowered to reach their goals. My approach is integrative and individualized, honoring each client’s unique needs, values, and experiences. For those who wish to incorporate their faith into the therapeutic process, I also offer Christian counseling that integrates Biblical principles with sound clinical practices.
As a neurodivergent-affirming therapist, I bring both personal and professional experience to my work with neurodivergent individuals and families. As the parent of an autistic young adult, I understand the complexities and rewards of navigating this journey. I specialize in supporting clients with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), also known as a Persistent Drive for Autonomy, helping them develop strategies that honor autonomy while promoting well-being.
In addition to my work with children and families, I am passionate about helping adults improve self-care, manage stress, reduce anger, and address perfectionism in ways that promote balance and self-compassion.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Longwood University, a Master’s degree in Marketing from the University of South Florida, and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. I also served as an Intelligence Analyst in the Army National Guard, where I developed strong skills in assessment, problem-solving, and resilience.
