Hello!

My name is Ire (pronounced E-ray), and I am a doctoral student in clinical psychology, deeply passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges and grow toward their fullest potential. As a Nigerian American, I grew up in a culture where mental health often wasn’t prioritized or openly discussed. This experience ignited my passion for changing the narrative around mental health in my community, which led me to pursue my doctorate in clinical psychology. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Georgia State University and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the Florida School of Professional Psychology at National Louis University.

Over the past three years of my training, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide range of mental health concerns, including ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, trauma, personality disorders, and more. I am particularly passionate about working with adolescents, emerging adults, and individuals from culturally diverse backgrounds. My approach is to work collaboratively with clients to identify their unique struggles, strengths, and areas for growth, fostering an environment of trust and understanding.

I take a client-centered, integrative approach to therapy, meaning I tailor my methods to each individual’s needs and preferences. I believe every person is unique, so no two therapeutic journeys are the same. My goal is to build a strong, supportive, and empathetic therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, respected, and safe. From there, we can work together to build coping skills, self-awareness, and strategies that help you achieve and maintain your personal goals.

BEYOND HELPING PEOPLE:

I am a strong advocate for self-care. I practice this by spending quality time with family and friends, crocheting, exploring local museums, catching up on my favorite TV shows, and enjoying the beach. I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward growth and healing!
