I’m Lacey Prine, a licensed school psychologist and the testing coordinator at Dr. Lake and Associates. I earned my Educational Specialist and Master’s degrees in school psychology from Georgia Southern University in 2011, and I am also a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. I’ve been with Dr. Lake and Associates since its inception.
In my role as testing coordinator, I conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. I also assist other clinicians with their evaluations. I have experience working with clients facing a wide range of concerns, and I’m passionate about helping individuals gain insight into themselves and find ways to overcome obstacles. Additionally, I support families by developing strategies and identifying resources to address emotional or behavioral challenges. With years of experience in both Georgia and Florida’s public school systems, I also help parents navigate school procedures to ensure their children receive the accommodations and services they need.
Although testing requires precision, I often use drawing or play techniques with younger clients to help them feel more at ease. I take a relaxed, flexible approach to build rapport and ensure an accurate understanding of how someone is functioning.
I’m proud to work at Dr. Lake and Associates, where I share Dr. Lake’s vision of offering exceptional support to families. It’s rewarding to contribute to a practice dedicated to improving mental health services and making a positive impact on the community. school settings in FL and out of state. Hence, I understand well ways to navigate the school system when a child is struggling. I have experience with completing many types of evaluations with a variety of age range of clients. Â
