Hi! My name is Luzmary!

As a Marriage and Family Therapy intern, I am dedicated to helping children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigate the complexities of their relationships and find pathways to greater understanding, connection, and fulfillment. I am driven to bring fresh perspectives and a compassionate approach to my work, striving to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their concerns openly and honestly. My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, nonjudgmental, and client-centered. I recognize that each person and family is unique, with their own strengths, challenges, and goals. I integrate various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Structural Family Therapy, Strategic Family Therapy, and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT-Informed) approaches, to tailor treatment to each client's specific needs and preferences independently.

My personality is characterized by warmth, empathy, compassion, and genuine curiosity about people's lives. I believe in the power of relationships to heal, transform, and evolve. I am committed to fostering trust and rapport with my clients as we journey together toward a positive change in their lives.
